This service allows districts to purchase OEM computer/printer supplies for Erie 1 BOCES owned equipment, at a cost that is extremely competitive. This is due to the purchasing power of Erie 1 BOCES.  Our cooperative bids and agreements allow Erie 1 BOCES to provide supplies and substantial savings to over 85 school districts in Western New York. 





Cost: Cost plus 5% plus shipping fee if applicable

Details:

Erie 1 BOCES stocks or can special order more than 1500 items, such as printer toner and ink cartridges, laser jet purchase order forms, staples, laptop batteries, projector lamps, cleaning cartridges, maintenance kits and much more. Supplies purchased through this service can only be used with BOCES owned equipment provided in conjunction with BOCES/WNYRIC services. This is a BOCES aidable service.

Responsibilities:

Districts must certify that any items purchased through this service are being used with BOCES owned equipment in conjunction with a BOCES/WNYRIC Service.

Service Level Agreement:

The WNYRIC utilizes cost effective best practices determined by research that allows our experienced and trained technical staff to perform robust testing and support of the WNYRIC network in the areas of security, infrastructure, energy management, virtualization strategies, disaster recovery and business continuity. Therefore, we are able to be a district advocate for vendor contract issues and aggressively negotiate contract pricing and performance terms. 

Staff follow best practices in order to provide necessary security as it relates to the most recent student, teacher and principal data security and privacy regulations.

During all other hours and holidays, a caller will receive important information regarding coverage.
