District Superintendent/CEO

Donald A. Ogilvie is district superintendent of the Erie 1 Board of Cooperative Educational Services (Erie 1 BOCES), a leadership role responsible for providing a variety of instructional, managerial and technology services to school districts in Erie County and throughout NYS. As district superintendent, Mr. Ogilvie is also a field representative of the New York State Commissioner of Education for the region.

Carol Barber

Chief Technology Officer/Executive Director of the WNYRIC

Carol Barber is the associate superintendent for planning and chief technology officer (CTO) for Erie 1 BOCES. This role reflects Erie 1 BOCES' commitment to continual improvement of services, specifically in the integration of new technology into instructional and managerial areas. In this position, Barber oversees the Western New York Regional Information Center, which provides technology services to approximately 100 school districts and nearly 300,000 students in the state.

Rosemary Conley

Executive Director, Instructional Services

Rosemary Conley is the executive director of Instructional Services at Erie1 BOCES. She has been with Erie 1 BOCES for more than 20 years. Past positions include director, Career Development Services; associate director, Career Development Services; and principal of the Harkness Career & Technical Center.  The executive director of Instructional Services oversees all the instructional programs at Erie 1 BOCES including exceptional education and secondary programs (alternative education and career and technical education) provided for more than 3,000 students from the component school districts.  In addition, as the executive director she will oversee adult programs and the Erie 1 Teacher Center.
