Student-Built 'Little Libraries' Debut
Introducing Erie 1 BOCES Little Libraries!
P-TECH students at the Potter Career and Technical Center built two Little Libraries for E1B students and the community. The libraries have been installed outside of Northtowns Academy and Winchester Academy.
The libraries are a way to promote reading at home as well as provide books to our neighbors. Anyone can borrow a book and return it to the library when they’re done.
“NTA staff donated several books last school year to our library cart,” said Northtowns Academy Assistant Principal Liza Fiorello. “With the donations from our staff, we are able to supply picture books and chapter books for students of all ages to “kick-off” our Little Library for our students, neighborhood families, and the community.”
If you have new or used books that you would like to donate, donations are being collected at Erie 1 BOCES Education Campus in Building A.
Happy Reading!
