Mrs. Dombrowski Celebrating 30 Years of Service
Erie 1 BOCES would like to applaud Buffalo resident Michelle Dombrowski, classroom teacher aide, for reaching a significant milestone in her career. Dombrowski was recently recognized for her 30 years of service to the organization.
Dombrowski works in the Exceptional Education division at Erie 1 BOCES. For the last five years, her home base has been West Seneca West Elementary. This September, she will be transitioning over to the new Winchester Academy in West Seneca.
“I love working with my coworkers and I’ve made a lot of great friends throughout my years,” she said. “I also love watching the kids learn and grow and seeing all of their accomplishments.”
Dombrowski began her career with Erie 1 BOCES as a personal aide in 1990 at Maryvale High School, the same school she graduated from. Before becoming an employee, she was also a student, attending Erie 1 BOCES for Cosmetology classes and earning her license in 1985.
For many years, Dombrowski has been a mentor to new aides. She has served on her union’s board as a treasurer and trustee, and now serves as a union building representative.
Dombrowski has been married for 30 years to her husband Ronald. The two of them have two children together, Branden and Kelly, and two Maltese dogs, Boomer and Max.
