PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
  • The 600-hour program will cover all aspects of working in an industrial setting.
  • You will learn how to trouble shoot, repair and maintain equipment in the following areas: Hydraulics, Pnematics, Pipefitting, Sheet Metal, Basic Electricity, Industrial Electricity, PLC’s, Welding, Mechanical Drives, Machining and HVAC.
  • All aspects of machine safety and blueprint reading are covered.
  • You will receive the OSHA 10 Certification for General Industry.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
  • A TABE score of 9.0 in reading and 9.0 in math is required*.
  • A personal interview will be conducted.
  • A valid high school diploma or equivalency is required.
  • A $300 security deposit is required.
  • A valid NYS Driver’s License is required.
Tuition grants from the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority may be available for those who qualify.
 
 
To register for this class you must first attend a Full Time Program Orientation and Testing Session at Erie 1 BOCES Workforce Development Center.

Day & Time: Monday – Friday 
                      8:00 am – 3:30 pm 
Fee: $6,500
  • The cost of the program is $6,500.  Financial assistance may be available through Federal Student Aid, ACCES-VR, BETC/ECC One Stop, CFA Funding, NETC, the US Department of Veterans Affairs, or other sources.  A Financial Aid Specialist is on staff to assist you.  Please visit our website for Gainful Employment Disclosure information.
