Industrial Hydraulics and Pneumatics (54 Hours)
Start with the basic principles of hydraulics and pneumatics and build your knowledge to an intermediate skill level. The following topics will be covered using hydraulic and pneumatic systems: energy transmission, hydraulic conductors, reservoirs, contamination control, pressure controls, hydraulic pumps, directional valves, flow controls, actuators, cartridge valves, proportional valves, pneumatic accumulators, common circuits, troubleshooting.

Machining I (100 Hours)
This project based course begins with an introduction to industrial machine tool operations and related measuring tools. You will gain experience in the use of blueprint reading, lathes, vertical milling machines, machine and drill presses, surface and pedestal grinders.

With pipefitting, you'll learn to select, measure, fabricate, and install the various piping, tubing, and hosing utilized in an industrial application. Moving into centrifugal pumps systems, you'll gain fundamentals of operation, performance, assembly and troubleshooting.

Sheet Metal (36 Hours)
This course will cover basic sheet metal hand tools, machinery and their proper use. Sheet Metal types fasteners and other materials of the trade will be covered. This course will also cover using patterns, cutting metal, punching, drilling, riveting and folding, edges. You will learn various types of guards, shoot covers, funnels, catch trays, parts trays and pinch point guards. This course covers soldering and welding techniques, basic system design, repair and modification.
