Medical Billing Clerk
Learn basic billing concepts, along with specific information relating to electronic medical claims and records (E.M.R.), are taught using Medent software, the most widely used program in the Western New York medical community. This course will include medical terminology along with anatomy and physiology that will enable you to comprehend and interpret medical procedures and diagnoses referenced in the ICD-10 and CPT code books. You will join the Medical Association of Billers (MAB) and take the Certified Medical Billing Specialist Exam as part of this program. This program requires a mandatory 100 hour internship. Tuition $6,600
Financial assistance may be available through Federal Student Aid, ACCES-VR, the US Department of Veterans Affairs or other sources. A Financial Aid Coordinator is on staff to assist you.

Admission Requirements
- A TABE score of 10.5 in reading and 8.0 in math.*
- A personal interview will be conducted.

Entry-level Medical Billing Clerks or Specialists can expect to earn an average of $18 per hour.
