Provides in‑depth consulting and support for complex labor relations and personnel matters, including detailed document review and preparation; representation in select proceedings; and assistance with negotiations, disciplinary actions, and impartial investigations.

This service provides a customized Labor Relations and Human Resources solution tailored to the specific needs of the district.

Code of Conduct Consulting
Provides flexible consulting support to districts that are developing, reviewing, or revising their codes of conduct. This service is ideal for districts looking to review and update their existing code of conduct.

Provides districts with a customizable employee handbook template that reflects current laws, regulations, and best practices. This service includes up to five hours of consulting to support the customization process. Additional consulting hours are available for purchase.

Provides flexible consulting support to districts that are developing, reviewing, or revising their employee handbooks. This service is ideal for districts looking to review and update their existing employee handbooks.

Comparative Data for Negotiations
Available to non-component districts that do not participate in our Labor Relations Level 1 Service, this offering provides secure access to comparative data from Erie 1 BOCES component districts for use in collective bargaining negotiations with district personnel. Through a password-protected webpage, participating school districts can access a range of data, including—though not limited to—salary and benefits information, recent settlements, and collective bargaining agreements.

Legal Reference Materials
This service provides participating school districts with access to school law books and labor law posters. 

Through our Level 1 Labor Relations Service, participating school districts gain access to tools that support informed decision-making, including collective bargaining agreements; salary and benefits data; as well as results from labor relations-focused surveys. These resources are available on our secure, password-protected Level 1 Labor Relations Resources page.

The Negotiator’s Group, made up of administrators from WNY school districts engaged in collective bargaining and human resources, meets regularly by invitation to review and discuss current settlement data and discuss personnel concerns.
