Frontier High School senior Sophie Cleary is making her mark in the Animal Science program at the Potter Career and Technical Education Center, where her passion for animals and strong leadership skills stand out.

Instructor Jessica Sawyer praises Sophie’s dedication and abilities.

“Sophie is a very charismatic senior in Animal Science,” Sawyer said. "She has excelled in our course, demonstrating expert grooming skills and a genuine passion for working with dogs."

Sophie joined the program to gain hands-on experience and prepare for a career as a veterinarian.

“I wanted to get a head start on learning everything I can about animals before going into the field in college,” Sophie said.

"Her compassionate nature allows her to help classmates improve their skills, and her leadership qualities truly shine," Sawyer added.
