Erie 1 BOCES is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Cameron Hall to its Board of Education for a three-year term. Mr. Hall brings more than a decade of dedicated service from the Hamburg Central School District Board of Education, including 10 years as vice president. He also holds board leadership positions on the Hamburg Industrial Development Agency, the Land Development Corporation, and the Hamburg Academy of Finance.
In addition to welcoming Mr. Hall, the organization is pleased to share that Mrs. Mary J. Busse of West Seneca and Mr. Mark Mecca of Williamsville have been re-elected to continue their service on the Erie 1 BOCES Board of Education. Mrs. Busse has served since 2015, and Mr. Mecca has been a board member since 2022. Their continued leadership and commitment are appreciated as the Board advances both new and ongoing initiatives.
The Board also celebrated a significant milestone as Mr. Edward Cavan was recently honored by the Erie County Association of School Boards (ECASB) for 40 years of service on a Board of Education, spanning both Erie 1 BOCES and the Sweet Home Central School District. Mr. Cavan has served on the Erie 1 BOCES Board since 1996. His extraordinary dedication to public education is a shining example of sustained leadership and service.
Please join us in congratulating and thanking all of our Board of Education members for their service and leadership.
