Erie 1 BOCES Offering Free Haircuts Throughout the Month of January

Update: Due to the overwhelming response to the Free Haircuts for the Holidays Promotion, Erie 1 BOCES is extending the offer throughout the month of January. Call either the Barbershop or Salon and book your appointment today!

This holiday season, Erie 1 BOCES Workforce Development is giving back by helping Western New Yorkers of all ages look and feel their best through its Haircuts for the Holidays initiative. Throughout the month of December, our community is invited to visit the Workforce Development Student Salon and Barbershop, relax, unwind, and enjoy a complimentary shampoo, haircut and style at no cost.

“At Erie 1 BOCES, we understand that the holidays can be a financially stressful time for some,” said Melissa Kamyab, Coordinator of the Salon and Spa Programs. “Our students are proud to give back by providing high-quality services that help our community feel confident heading into their holiday gatherings. Every service is performed by our talented students under the guidance of experienced instructors, so guests can relax, enjoy, and leave looking and feeling their best for the season.”

In addition to free holiday haircuts, Erie 1 BOCES offers a full menu of affordable salon and barbershop services year-round, all performed by students under the guidance of licensed instructors.
