Celebrating the Class of 2026 of Maryvale and Winchester Academies

Loved ones, district representatives, and Erie 1 BOCES staff and leadership gathered to celebrate an important milestone as students from Maryvale Academy and Winchester Academy proudly crossed the stage during their graduation ceremony.

The celebration recognized the hard work, resilience and personal growth of each graduate. Throughout their time at Erie 1 BOCES, students developed academic, social, and life skills while building confidence and preparing for the next chapter of their journeys.

"Graduation is a celebration of each student's unique path and the determination they have shown to reach this milestone," said Gina Dailey, principal of Maryvale Academy. "We are incredibly proud of our graduates and look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the future."

The ceremonies featured heartfelt remarks from staff, presentation of diplomas and awards, a celebratory slideshow of photos from students' childhood and time with Erie 1 BOCES, and plenty of cheers from proud families and supporters. It was a joyful opportunity to recognize the achievements of the graduating class and the strong partnerships between students, educators and families that helped make their success possible.
