EDGE Academy and CCRA Celebrates the Class of 2026

EDGE and the College and Career Readiness Academy (CCRA) proudly celebrated the accomplishments of its graduating Class of 2026 during a heartfelt commencement ceremony honoring the perseverance, growth, and achievements of its students.

Surrounded by family, friends, and staff, graduates were recognized for reaching an important milestone and for the determination they demonstrated throughout their educational journeys. The ceremony reflected the supportive community that helps students overcome challenges, discover their strengths, and prepare for future success.

Initiating the celebration was a special performance by student musicians of the EDGE Academy's modern band group, led by Mr. Kabigting, and graduate Riley McFadden engaged the audience of her peers and loved ones with words of celebration and inspiration for her fellow graduates.

The ceremony also recognized students with awards celebrating academic achievement, leadership, perseverance and future aspirations. Among them was a full scholarship presented by Erie 1 BOCES Workforce Development, highlighting the continued opportunities available to students as they pursue career training and meaningful employment after graduation.

Graduates were cheered on as they crossed the stage to receive their diplomas, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter. The event served as a reminder that success is measured not only by reaching the finish line, but by the resilience, determination and personal growth demonstrated along the way.

Congratulations to the EDGE Academy and CCRA Class of 2026! The entire Erie 1 BOCES community is proud of your accomplishments and wishes you continued success in your future education, careers, and beyond.
