BOCES Prom 2025: A Night to Remember

Students at Maryvale and Winchester Academies put on their dancing shoes last month for BOCES Prom 2025: A Night to Remember! This was the first time the event was held since 2019, bringing back a favorite tradition for students and staff alike.

The Maryvale gymnasium was packed with students dancing their hearts out, interacting with their friends, and participating in countless line dances! A DJ was spinning tunes all morning long, getting everyone up on their feet.

The cafeteria had snacks for students to enjoy and was decked with decorations, perfect for photo opportunities to commemorate the event.

Prom is one of the cornerstone events for any high school student and Erie 1 BOCES is grateful that we were able to restart this tradition for the first time since the pandemic. Smiles were not in short supply as students took over the prom and made it their own, with conga lines and karaoke sessions breaking out throughout the event.

Thank you to all who helped make this event such a resounding success, we're looking forward to next year's prom already!
