Winchester Academy Recongnizes Talented Students at Year-End Celebrations

Winchester Academy capped off the school year with two ceremonies to recognize the hard work, dedication, and achievements of its students this year. 

At the school's 5th Grade Graduation on June 18, students whose time at Winchester Academy has come to an end were celebrated for their growth over the years. A slideshow presentation looked back at favorite memories from the school year, followed by the presentation of diplomas to students by their teachers.

This year's fifth-grade teachers are Mr. Heppner, Miss Iafallo, Mrs. Knight, Mrs. Pasucci, Mr. Rice, and Miss TImmel.

On June 22, the school hosted "K-2 Celebrate Me!", a musical celebration sharing the joy of learning together. Family members filled the auditorium as students sang songs such as "Shake Your Sillies Out", "If You're Happy and You Know It", and "I Think You're Wonderful."

Both events recognized the growth that students achieved throughout the year and provided a warm and fun end to the school year. 

"Throughout this year, our students have worked hard, learned new skills, and shown kindness to others," said Winchester Academy Principal Dr. Liza Fiorello at Celebrate Me. "Each of our students has grown in their unique way, and today is about celebrating those accomplishments, both big and small. We are proud of them for being curious, trying their best, and always believing in themselves."
