Tier 2 introduces students to real-world job tasks within the community, while still providing the structure and support they need to succeed.

• Intended population: Students in an initial community work setting who benefit from moderate support

• Group size: 3–5 students per class

• Frequency: Twice a week

Through Tier 2, students begin to apply their skills in authentic work environments and build confidence outside of school.

Tier 3 allows students to explore potential careers in real-world community settings while continuing to receive the guidance they need to thrive.

Intended population: Students in an experienced community work setting
Group size: 2–3 students per work group
Frequency: 2 days per week

Through Tier 3, students gain hands-on experience, deepen their understanding of workplace expectations, and build independence as they investigate career pathways that interest them.

Tier 4 helps students transition from learning to earning by providing individualized, real-world internship experiences tailored to their skills and career goals.

Type of work: Individualized internship
Intended population: Students who are supported or competitive job-ready
Group size: One-on-one internship
Frequency: 4 days per week, with an additional skills training class

Through Tier 4, students gain practical experience, refine professional skills, and prepare to confidently enter the workforce.
