Special Education
Erie 1 BOCES provides Special Education programs designed for students with disabilities whose instructional needs cannot be appropriately served by their local school district. We provide special education classes for students ages 5 through 22, at a variety of locations across Western New York.
Special programs are specifically designed to meet the needs of students with a variety of developmental, learning, and behavioral and emotional disabilities. Programs are ideal for students who have not been successful in a traditional public school setting. Transition services are an important part of the curriculum for all Special Education students. Students also have an opportunity to participate in a variety of work-based learning opportunities based on their individual interests and abilities.

CCRA at EDGE Academy provides a special education placement for NYS High School diploma bound students requiring a more supportive special education setting in order to be successful.
