Web Technology & Gaming Program was “No-Brainer” for Sweet Home Student
Leo Zheng, a student at Sweet Home Central School District, is excelling in the Web Technology and Gaming program at the CTE Center at Calspan Business Park.
“This program has given me a creative outlet and allowed me to learn more about what I love,” Zheng said. “It has opened up numerous future opportunities that would have been much harder to achieve.”
Leo said his passion for his studies stemmed from his interest in coding and programming, and that “choosing this path was a no-brainer for me.”
Leo’s instructor, Linda Rohloff, had high praise for his skills and enthusiasm for working with others.
“Leo has been doing excellent this year,” Rohloff said. “He possesses advanced programming skills and is a true asset to the classroom. He is always helpful and eager to volunteer to support both the class and the community.”
After graduation, Leo plans to take a year to refine his skills and consider his next steps, whether that involves college or entering the workforce. With his enthusiasm and commitment, Leo is well on his way to a successful career in web technology and gaming.
