Kenton CTE Senior Presents at State Conference
Senior and junior SkillsUSA officers from Kenton Career and Technical Center participated in the Skill USA NYS Leadership Conference in Albany last week.
“They certainly made us proud with their participation, positive attitude and enthusiasm,” said Ellen McKay, Erie 1 BOCES teacher and SkillsUSA assistant advisor.
Affiliated nationally with SkillsUSA, the organization is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce.
“SkillsUSA helps each student excel,” said Tracie Blackman, Erie 1 BOCES teacher and SkillsUSA lead advisor. “Our senior president, Angelina Khuri, presented to the entire New York conference!”
