Camp Course Descriptions

Choose 4 Different Camps to Attend

Throughout the Week!

7 Hour Movie Challenge

Have you ever thought of becoming a filmmaker, actor, or director?  Do you like to make videos on your phone or iPad?  In this film camp, you'll work in groups to write an original story by creating a story spine.  After the story is written, your group will use interactive storyboard software to visualize and film your story.  You'll learn how to edit the video using video editing software, and create an original musical score.  Finally, you'll watch each other's films and choose the winner of the movie challenge!  You will get to bring home a copy of your film to show your family and friends!

Adventures in Babysitting

Do you want to become a babysitter and make great money?  Are you already a babysitter and you want new and fun ideas to try with the children you work with?  Do you spend a lot of time with younger siblings, family members or neighbors?  Take this camp!  You will learn fun crafts, science experiments, projects and basic first aid that will make you the babysitter they'll ask for time and time again!

Airbrush Adventures - Class Full

Do you enjoy painting? Are you creative? Learn how to airbrush like the professionals.  Use the airbrushes professional car restoration technicians use on monster trucks and race cars to create amazing designs.  While in this camp, you will work in our auto collision shop on an airbrush project that will really impress your friends and family.  You don't have to be an artist.  Once you learn the techniques of airbrushing, you can paint almost anything!

Bakeshop Boot Camp

This summer, baking campers will play with a variety of ingredients.  You'll learn from real pastry chefs and cake decorators how to make cookies, pies, cream puffs, cupcakes and cake pops! Campers will make several projects that they can take home and show off to friends and family.  This is your chance to play and learn about all the cool ways to make and decorate baked goods!

Camp Culinary

Calling all campers!  Come join us for another fun filled week in Camp Culinary!  Learn what it's like to work in a professional kitchen.  You'll spend the week learning to make delicious, camper friendly dishes.   You will learn to cook safely in a state-of-the-art kitchen, develop independence, and WOW your family with delicious creations!

Destination Animation

This Digital Media Camp will offer an animation project where students will journey into the colorful world of 2D animation!  Using Adobe Animate and Photoshop, students will learn how to create simple animated movies.  They will design and rig their own animated characters so they can interact with the worlds and story they created from their imagination.

Express Yourself

Have you ever thought of becoming a hair stylist or a makeup artist?  Maybe you just want to learn how to pamper yourself, your friends and your family?  Experience a true spa and salon atmosphere.  Campers will practice shampooing, braiding, simple up-dos, basic makeup, facials, and nails.  It's a week of fun and relaxation you'll never forget!

Flair for Fashion

Create fabric art using colorful, interesting techniques with fabric dye and patchwork sewing.  Campers will use their designed fabric to create bags, hair accessories, and pillows!  Just like in high fashion, croquis will be used to illustrate while viewing top designer fashion shows.

Junior Police Academy

Here's your chance to learn what it takes to become a police officer.  You will learn many of the same skills that are taught in a real police academy including physical fitness requirements, self-defense tactics and even how to make a misdemeanor or felony arrest!  Other topics will include radio communications, composite sketching, criminal investigation, fingerprinting and handcuffing.  A local police agency will also be in to give a presentation and answer your questions.  If you've ever thought of a career in law enforcement then this is the camp for you!

Minecraft Madness

Come and explore the world of Minecraft with us!  Junior Minecrafters will have tons of fun as they learn the basics of the world famous game.  We'll learn about the different game modes, how to craft some crazy contraptions and even build an awesome obstacle course!  Learn the fundamentals of video game design as you create epic worlds with the help of your fellow campers.  Spawn into the curious world of Minecraft!

Spectacular Sprinklers

Be cool!  Stay cool!  Learn how to make your own water cooling devices using copper and plastic pipe.  You will learn how to solder, measure, design and assemble your own personal sprinkler system.  Bring it home and use it for the rest of the summer!

Sports Conditioning and Sports Science

This camp will help you reach your goals and improve your personal fitness. It can make you a better athlete for whichever sport you play, while also focusing on teamwork, technique, and strategy. We will focus on skills such as speed, coordination, balance, reaction, and power. Fitness and fun are always a winning combination!
