Building Maintenance

Are you looking for a career that will allow you to work with your hands? How about a career that involves problem solving and customer service? As a building maintenance technician, you will work in an environment where your customer service skills are as important as your ability to repair and renovate. Building maintenance technicians are well-rounded in multiple trades including: carpentry, electrical, plumbing and interior finishes. They also interact with commercial and residential tenants, office managers and other building staff on a regular basis. For those who are looking for a trades career where they can use their skills to help people, working as a building maintenance technician can be a fulfilling career choice.

The building maintenance class is designed to give students the skills needed to start a career as a building maintenance technician. The course is broken into four distinct skill areas, all taught by experienced craftspeople.
