Are you looking for a career that blends problem-solving with teamwork? In the building trades, you'll leverage your skills to build, repair and renovate while collaborating with teammates on job sites. This profession requires knowledge in various skilled trades, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing and interior finishes — all of which you can acquire through our comprehensive program.
Our training encompasses safe tool usage, blueprint interpretation, precise measurements and foundational electrical and plumbing work. You’ll gain hands-on experience in drywall installation, rough and finish carpentry, framing, roofing, flooring, door and window fitting, siding, repairs and more by engaging in real-world projects. (200 Hour Program)

Registration Process
This program requires an application and entrance exam.

Tuition $4,000
Financial assistance may be available through ACCES-VR, DCC (prev. BETC)/SUNY Erie One Stop, NETC or other sources.
A $300 security deposit is required to reserve your spot in this class.
- Tuition does not include steel toe work boots. These are the responsibility of the student to obtain. The approximate cost is $125 and is subject to change.
Admission Requirements
- A TABE score of 7.0 in reading and 6.0 in math*.
- A personal interview will be conducted.
Employment Outlook
By completing this program, you’ll be well-equipped for an array of entry-level construction careers, such as Carpenter, Drywall Installer, General Contractor and others, with competitive starting pay ranging from $18 to $30. Additionally, you’ll benefit from hiring opportunities through our partnerships with local businesses, helping to successfully launch your career. E1B provides career coaching, resume writing assistance, job search strategies and interview preparation.
