Service Plumbing (36 Hours)
The introduction to service plumbing is designed to give plumbers and building maintenance personnel the skills needed to diagnose and repair basic drain and water supply issues. Course content includes training in pipe identification, common drain and supply configurations, plumbing materials, repair techniques and proper use of hand tools and drain cleaning equipment. In addition, this course covers the health and safety issues involved when working on plumbing systems. The course format is primarily hands-on, with some classroom and online content. Upon completion, participants will be prepared to identify and repair many common plumbing issues found in residential buildings and commercial buildings.

Plumbing Fundamentals (96 Hours)
Theory including design, layout and installation of residential plumbing and piping is presented in this course. Instruction is also provided in faucet repair and toilet installation. Work with copper tubing, plastics, and iron piping is included. Students will develop plumbing layouts and material lists. Students will demonstrate their proficiency in “hands-on” techniques to accomplish standard plumbing tasks.
