Substitute Training & Recruitment Services (STARS) - For Our School Districts |
This is a new emerging service to develop solutions needed to mitigate the substitute teacher and other school-related position shortages that our districts face. In developing this service, we are working in partnership with an advisory committee comprised of school district administrators, human resources and school business professionals. This advisory committee share the same common mission, a commitment to short and long-term goals. This service is categorized into three modules:
|
Frontline Absence Management |
The automated substitute service, Absence Management (formerly known as AESOP), provides school district employees the ability to enter absences 24 hours, seven days per week, by calling a toll-free number or logging onto the Absence Management (AM) web site. AM uses phone and web platforms and will immediately show the assignments to available substitutes that match the qualifications and preferences of the district. Employees can manage absences, leave balances, and more through absence balances and absence approvals. Support hours are from 6 am to 9:30 am. |
Red Rover K-12 |
The automated substitute service Red Rover, supports school districts with the latest and modern tools built to attract today's "gig economy" substitutes. Red Rover uses text message notifications, web and mobile platforms to make absence management easy for the K-12 districts. Employees can easily manage absences, time-off requests, leave balances, and more, through absence balances and absence approvals, while adhering to attendance policies established by collective bargaining agreements or union contracts. Support hours are from 6 am to 9:30 am. |
